Days 1-7 — the taste test

Most dogs take it straight from your hand. No cheese, no peanut butter, no wrestling match. Give one chew daily with food and let it become part of the routine.

Weeks 2-3 — the small stuff settles

Owners usually mention the little things first: less pacing at bedtime, an easier car ride, a quicker recovery after the doorbell.

Week 4 and on — it stops being a project

This is where consistency pays. Keep the daily chew going and you are supporting your dog's baseline, rather than chasing a bad night after it has already happened.

How much to give

• Up to 25 lbs — 1 chew daily
• 26-50 lbs — 2 chews daily
• 51-100 lbs — 3 chews daily
• Over 100 lbs — 4 chews daily
